    Early 50s Raleigh bikes

Well, if they're green and have gold lining, they're probably Superbe models. If you're not able to sort out the rust, the money's in the Brooks saddle, the crankset and pedals on the gents' and headlamp on the ladies' bike

    Constrictor cycle rollers - Hereford HR2 0EH

I hastily bid for these old rollers at an auction, without sorting out how to collect them within the prescribed Ts&Cs. They've been over-painted bright red, but that label plate looks like 'Constrictor'. Does anybody want them? You would have to collect from Hereford HR2 0EH early next week...

    Frame ID: please help

    Frame ID: please help

Any idea what this is? Under the pink paint there's the remnants of a head transfer. It has Nervex lugs, fluted seat stays, track dropouts, 2 oil ports on the bb shell. Underneath the shell is a ref no 1334. It has been built up with younger parts. Anybody recognise the frame make?

    Forks ID

Thanks Keith, I think you nailed it. A quick google finds pictures of an "Elite" model from the early 50s with the same forks.

    Forks ID

Anyone able to confirm the make of these forks? Apparently, the number under the bb (AK prefix) suggests Sun.

Honor Blackman & Diana Dors & Bikes ....

Bikes provided by BSA. Some nice machines (only wish there were more close-ups), views of the Yorkshire Dales, and old, familiar faces (Bernard Hepton, Felix Dwyer, Megs Jenkins, Tony Newley etc). It's bound to be repeated on TPTV, and is available on youtube, anyway.
