    Tushingham B52 17.5"

Re: Tushingham B52 In case anyone is still remotely interested and wondering what became of this little bike. I had an attack of conscience as it was originally purchased as a runaround for my daughter at Uni. I felt guilty not letting her have it (not too guilty mind you) and gave her it to...

For those who were following this bike on ebay, the second time around, I am sorry if my ending the sale was a disappointment to you but you'll have gathered from the tone of my comments on this forum that I was extremely unhappy at ebay for removing the initial auction, and I don't think it...

I have already re-listed guys with the 'disparaging' comments re PayPal removed..............even if they were true. It isn't really the fees that annoy me re PayPal. It's the fact that the one time I needed help with a stray payment when I finally got to speak to someone they were unhelpful to...

Huge apologies to watchers and bidders on ebay. I woke up this morning and they had de-listed it as 'it was a breach of their terms and conditions re PayPal' Basically I said I abhor PayPal as they do nothing for their money. I have since removed said comments. Anyone on this forum who was...

Now on ebay, sort of reluctantly. Took your advice and just started at 0.99p and see where it goes.

I've been in touch with Orange. Helpful people but unfortunately they don't need a B52 for their museum as they already have one on display. I'm in no rush so will give it a few weeks, maybe even wait till spring before listing.

Many thanks for doing this. Very helpful as I can't seem to find their contact details. Under SUPPORT on their website there appears only FAQ's and Warranty information but I can't see any actual contact information.

Like your Avatar, 'my little droogie' ! Not a bad idea at all. I saw a picture of one they already have in their collection but who knows? Thanks for idea.

OK it's been a couple of months on now and my daughter has been home from Uni for three weeks, going back tomorrow, and we've been out on some forest trails with her using the B52 a few times. Short story, she doesn't like it, thinks it's nowhere near as good as her Giant. Of course she's right...

I can't really make out the writing but could it be something like Penta Proezil as suggested in another B52 thread? I've put a bit of tlc into the saddle, not sure if the picture does it justice. Is this the pic you wanted Andrew? Exage crank and SIS chainrings. I think these are original...

Don't worry I wouldn't dream of touching the paint. Thanks for info on decals too, most helpful. I've checked with other threads and the seat in fact is also the original; this bike hasn't been used much. Only the handlebars and levers seem to have been changed. Pity, but I will try and...

Thanks again for all info. My daughter is back from Uni this weekend hoping for a commuter bike to take back. Oops, not happening with this one anyway. I'm keeping it in Cumbria under lock and key meantime. Since its so close to 100% original I'm going to try and complete it. I won't do the...

Thanks for all the info and advice guys. I'm feeling almost guilty not really being an enthusiast like you guys and luckily picking up such a bike. I love the enthusiasm on this forum though and I could be tempted to make more of my biking though as I said I spend most of my time on rivers...

Ok confession. First of all I am a kayaker, not really an MTB rider, though I do the odd forestry trail with my daughter when she is home from Uni. So that said, I've found something a bit special at a local auction. The intention was originally to buy my daughter a cheap bike for Uni as it's...
