Thanks to Adrian (@raidan73), I was able to fit a silver IRD post. To compensate for the silver overhang, I swapped the handlebars for a black Salsa. Now it was finally ready for its natural environment in awesome wheather. As expected, it's a great ride! driveside front rear Cheers, Alex

Too bad! I stand by my guess that it could be a prototype McMahon Sciccor brake, unless someone has a better idea.

There were also some rusty spots near the signature. I polished the frame to treat these spots. Unfortunately, the signature was damaged in the process. So I decided to remove it completely, which is a shame! But for me it was important to remove the rust as well as possible.
