Hi All Here is my Zinn Jersey, which I bought along with my Zinn Z Centaur in 1992, both of which I still own. Zinn bikes now seem pretty rare, so could this be one of the rarest MTB Jerseys, or does anyone else own one? Cheers

I have put some close up photos in my albumn of the original Campagnola cantilevers that came on my Zinn. The photos dont realy do them justice, they look sexier in real life. A solid piece of shiny aluminium.

My frame No is Z92339. So the month thing doesnt realy work with that frame no.

I think the SRT500R was the second version of the Gripshift, if I remember correctly. It is so easy to use, none of this pushing with your thumb and pulling with your finger business.

Do you know if the serial number gives you the date in it

The trouble with the Campagnola stuff, as great as it is, it was never the easiest of stuff to get hold of locally, back then. Unless it was the Road Bike stuff. So when things needed changing, it was what was available to me. No internet back then to buy stuff from, just dodgy adds in the back...

Oh yes I also have the original Zinn Cycling Jersey in Red & White, which I bought when I got the bike. It still fits, but it is a little bit tighter than back then, luckily it is stretch material.

The cantilevers are the original. They were always amazing looking, and work brilliantly. The forks are just about to get some new Elastomers but other than that they are in perfect condition. It was the Icarus groupset, but I think it shared a lot of its bits with the Record OR, if I remember...

Yes, I still have one of the original Continental Baja tyres, which I have stuck on the front. I will look at the Edge. It's slowly coming back as to why I had such a narrow tyre on the back, the clearance. Good job you pointed that out or I would have wasted money on a wider tyre. Cheers

Hi. Im glad I kept my Zinn for all these years now. Never had the heart to get rid of it. After going up to my local trails and seeing some of the monstrosities that people are riding these days, it made me smile when I was sat on my Zinn.

Had a look, its the same frame and Campagnola Record OR groupset. It cost me over 2 grand 20 years ago, with the extras that I put on it etc. It was only ever ridden off road and raced quite a lot in local events back in the day. I would strip it down regularly and maintain it and keep it...

Thanks for the welcome NeilM. My Zinn is in pretty much imaculate condition for its age, it was well looked after all those years ago, even though it was ridden hard and a lot. Always cleaned up after every ride and always kept in doors. I will put some photos on ASAP.
