Yes I agree, the paintwork was what caught my eye & far to good for the binmen to throw in the back of their lorry. Someone spent a few days painting this old bicycle up. If you look closely it says "hannas" on the top bar so probably belonged to some young lady called Hanna.

Can anybody date this bicycle or give me info on manufacturers? I'm guessing English, possibly 1950s? There's no makers marks on in except for "Swift" on headset & a set of Phillips handle bars which may or may not be retro fitted? It also has a Bristol leather saddle. The rest of frame has...
