It appears to be a CroMo frame with a one piece crank bottom bracket which would mean it was one of the 3 S's: Superior, Super Sport, or Sports Tourer. I don't believe any of these were offered in black. So my best guess would be a 1973 Super Sport repainted black. It could be later though...
