FS Hope Stem and Thomson Seat Post

Sorry for the delayed reply, I thought I got e-mail notification of replies. The lay back is to provide a rearward offset to the seat over a straight inline post, eg to get the right reach in unison with the stem length etc. Some posts acheive this by have the seat clamp offset backwards on a...

    Dialled Prince Albert

Having been an Orange fan (my Oranges are here) I decided to go for something different. I wasn't really gelling with my newly aquired Patriot, prossibly too much bike for my standard of mincing. I was generally enjoying my old O2 more, especially on local trails at Leigh Woods and Ashton Court...

Would a 26.8x330mm Thompson layback interest you? Not quite as cheap as that I'm afraid.

    4-5" travel forks from late 90's / early '00s

2001 Marzocchi Bomber Z1 MCR 130mm? If you're interested I'll check steerer length and sort pics from when I stripped and rebuilt with new seals recently. Would be looking for £60 posted.

    A Bunch of Oranges

Why's that? It's not really clear how the cable ties are used in those pics. I will get some pics, but not now as the Patriot has been stripped of bits to build a Dialled PA (keep meaning to do a readers rides thread for it), and the PA which has the same arrangement. The cable tie on the...

Heavy handed clot - bottom bracket threads stripped :(

Infamy. Aye the very same. Haven't posted on there for couple years though

Heavy handed clot - bottom bracket threads stripped :(

Argos reamed and sleeved the BB in my Patriot frame which had knackered threads. With the steel insert it was better than new. A real good job. But they are local to me so saves faff and expense of posting.

WTD - old style long crud race guard bracket

As per the title does any one have a long old style crud race guard bracket like the picture below that they would part with for a sum? Or possibly the slightly later style with the hollow center, I think they are interchangable. Thanks

    retro(ish) Orange 223 DD build

Nice. Looks pretty slack. Can't help thinking a set of retro SID's would match that frame colour nicely and sharten it up a bit

    1998 Tiny Slimy Orange Clockwork

Nice little bike, will look better with shorter stem. Same forks as came on my 1998 O2, and same colour as my missus 1999 Evo2.

    A Bunch of Oranges

http://muckynutz.com/index.php?route=pr ... ry&path=46 They get good reviews so thought would give one a try. I didn't get any muck flung in my face today so seems to work, but to be fair it wasn't that muddy. Also think the fat down tube on the Patriot helps anyway. The fender bender also...
