For Sale Genesis Core 40 frame

Bought for parts for my kid's bike and the frame and seatpost are all that's left. 2010 I think. Not a bad bit of kit actually. A bit of wear as can be seen from the pics, but no actual damage. 19" frame. Takes 26" wheels. £35 collected from Northampton, or can be posted for extra cost (I'll...

Thanks for replies and messages everyone. I got one in the end. I found a Marin Mount Vision on ebay. Looking forward to us building it together.

Wanted SORTED - Small full susser frame

I've another look at the X2 and it's growing on me. Sadly I've just re-measured, and it's slightly too big. If anyone's got similar, but smaller, please shout. Hen's teeth/rocking horse crap also accepted - I've a feeling they're more realistic 😢

Wanted SORTED - Small full susser frame

Cheers. I've had a look and I'm not sure why, but it's just not doing it for me. Thanks anyway though.

Wanted SORTED - Small full susser frame

So, my youngest wants to be like me, riding over bumpy terrain with impunity 😁. As such I'd like to swap his frame out for a full suspension one. Needs to be pretty tiny - 14" ish. He's got about 4" seatpost up on a 13" Spesh Hardrock at the moment. Ideally something old and uncool (therfore...

Wanted 104 bcd 4 arm cranks

I don't know anything about them either. I think you're right and they're Trek specials. The bike wasn't exactly cheap, so I assume they're not bad. I'm afraid I wouldn't have a clue on the BB width. The rest of the bike is long gone (including the BB) so I can't check. If there are any...

Wanted 104 bcd 4 arm cranks

Got these Icon cranks that came on my 2000 Klein Adroit Race. 175mm. Usual heel rub and could do with a polish. I'll take the rings off 'cos they're trashed. £20 posted.

Bomber all mountain 4 - horrible stiction

Cheers. Starting to come to the same conclusion myself. Seal kits are looking rare and expensive (plus oil too) so perhaps it's time to write them off and replace.

Bomber all mountain 4 - horrible stiction

Sorry, wrong section. Can someone please move?

Bomber all mountain 4 - horrible stiction

I got a pair of Bomber All Mountain 4 forks used a while ago as part of an incomplete bike I bought, and just got around to putting them on my son's bike. They're circa 2006 I think and are open bath springs with air pre-load. They're horrible! Massive amounts of stiction, almost like they're...

    Sorted 190x51mm rear shock

This is why I love retrobike. I've found someone whose parts hoard is clealy so massive they've got 3 of a very specific part just lying around, and is also happy to be photographing and measuring at roughly midnight.😊 I'm genuinely impressed. The monarch has piqued my interest but depends what...

Frame now sold. Still got the rest.

    Sorted 190x51mm rear shock

Nothing fancy. It'll be going on a fairly battered Cube Stereo and the fact that I barely noticed when the damping failed means anything special will just be lost on me! Lockout option would be nice but not essential. Air, not coil. Standard mount (?) not trunnion. No Suntour! Cheers

The other "HOW MUCH IS MY xyz WORTH" thread for 98

Told myself I'd keep this forever, but now that I'm old & fat my full susser gets used instead. So, this needs to go. I'm struggling to put a value on it, since it's a bit niche and is a post Trek "pariah" Klein 😉 So, 2000 or 2001 Adroit Race frame. Carbon cycles Exotic fork (alu). Specially...

    retro bike ... non-retro helmet

About a month ago I spent the grand sum of £12.50 on the On-One enduro helmet, direct from PlanetX. Having been initially sceptical I looked into it and it got great reviews. Luckily I've not needed it so can't comment on how it holds up after an impact but in terms of how it feels, I'd recommend.
