MKM 531 frame...51 seat tube and 54 top tube. Both c2c..This frame was powder coated a few years ago in a dark blue sparkle finish. It's one of the later MKMs, dating from 1977 of memory serves me right. It's been well used in many different guises by myself (touring, fixed, light cx duties...

Re. narrow tyres, I have used Vittoria Tigre Cross, which I think came in 700x27...It was a very fast tread pattern though, more suited to grass track than all out CX..

I use a Raliegh 853 S.P. frame....Modern 10 speed set up, with 50mm deep rims...It looks great and rides fantastic....Light enough too...I used it in last years Scottish CX series and it stood out among the Ridleys, Spesh and Giants etc... For tyres, 700x33 would be the narrowest I would use for...

If your using a compact chainset that uses outboard cups, you can space the cups out to give you more chainstay clearance....Campag 9v cassette spacers work a treat as BB spacers.... If your using a square taper BB then you could try one with a wide axle spacing...127mm ??... Or - a MTB double...
