    Proflex 656

I think it's a Size Large but according to the 1996 catalogue Med and Large have exactly the same standover height but large has a slightly longer top tube. I'm 5' 10" and very comfortable at that size with seatpost about 5"- 6" out of frame. Would probalbly suit a range from 5'9" to a touch...

    Proflex 656

Regrettably I am forced to sell one of my bikes and as this is the least used it unfortunately has to go :( . It is very tidy and rides very smoothly and quietly. The main frame is original paintwork with a few scratches but no dings or cracks etc. Red 1996 Proflex 656 newly powder coated...

    Proflex seat post Diameter

That's very kind, thanks. To be honest you wouldn't know it was worn unless you took it apart, I just notice after each ride the angle had changed. So I started to use my road post but it's a bit of a pain switching back and forth.

    Proflex seat post Diameter

Yeah it did look ok but it moved a few times while riding it so I took it off and all the serrations were worn away to nothing, so couldnt lock it horizontal. What do you want for the Titec? I'm using my road bike one at the moment and swapping between bikes. What does it measure from the...

    Proflex seat post Diameter

I Need a new seat post for my Proflex 656 as the serrations have failed on the original one but not sure if it's 27mm or 27.2mm? Anyone know? It looks like 27.2mm on a scale rule but not having a better measurement I can't be sure :? Looking for an upright replacement, black or silver...

    Proflex - Back in black

Thanks, Wow! you have a fair few Proflexes there! :) The bump stops were already on the bike, but the catalogue was listed on a CD that came with the bike containing a manual and some Vector workshop instructions (very handy  ). I'm sure I'll get a few looks as I thrash it up and...

    Which Pads?

Can anyone recommend: Baffled by the amount of pads for vee/cantis out there :? :? What would be a good pad to use with these 90's LX cantis?? Something with good bite as opposed to longevity would be preferred Would this be the type used? I Received them without pads so I cant...

    North West Powder coater

The owner was asking about what bikes I had and was a rider himself so I imagine he'll do a pretty good job . The standard rate was £45 stripped and coated which was reasonable I thought. He gave me a tour of the shop and showed me some things he had just coated. Just highlighting it for...
