    Is it smooth? I cleaned mine up nice using (look away) bleach based household cleaner and a cloth. Obviously be careful and go slow. Nice bike!

    Touch up paint for retro bikes

    End result! it had some quite bad scrapes - and the colour is not perfect by any means - but it looks a 1000% better and I (and my daughter) are very pleased with it! what you reckon? i e since bought 4 more touch up paints for my other bikes - with some mixed - but generally ok results...

    Goodbye after 20 years!

    I think so based on comms and to be honest you would have to be to value such a nice thing! I will definitely miss it but I have been acquiring bikes lately so some have to move on and 20 years is a good stint! Time for someone else to enjoy.

    Thanks. It’s so clean I might have to keep it! It cost £15 so I just need to convince the wife that 16 bikes isn’t really much different from 17, whilst reminding her that marriage after all is about nurturing ones passions!

    Ah thanks. I’ve got a much older Fire Mountain and I thought a few bits were more modern. Haven’t got to it properly yet but will make a nice bike.
