Boughta very tasty FD M900 from Mr Ship. It arrived nicely jiffy bagged and in better condition than shown in the pic. A very smooth transaction in every way.

Great job - finished the build really nicely - congratulations! Enjoy it. I seem to remember reading somewhere on here that some years rockhoppers did take 73 mm bottom brackets. Possibly also stumpies. My hardrock is the same as the OPs and takes 68mm.

Thanks for the link. They are similar but not eactly the right ones which have flat s machined on sides of bolt. www.byciclist used to stock them but out of stock at the moment. Good try but I'll keep on looking. The ones I've got are OK but a tad scruffy. Thanks again for taking the...

I wonder if anyone out there has a pair of these brake cable adjusters in their box of bits.. They're the ones that have machined flats on either side of the bolt. They were fitted to Centaur and I think Veloce dual pivot brakes about 20 years ago. Preferably in silver and in good condition...
