Baltic Bawbags - Now with added aftermath and pictures of actual riding

I'll try and get along. I do like a Baltic Bawbag. It'll be retro rigid 1983 Nishiki Bushwacker as its the only mtb I have these days. I'll need to clean the rust off it and hope the shite old tires hold together 😋

Pies from Harry Gow bakeries in the north east are excellent. I had the pleasure of sampling their wares at their Nairn bakery when I was delivering a van to the local post office 🥧

Festive Frolics 2021 - Aftermath and pics

They reckon that if you have symptoms after 12 weeks then its long covid. My mate nearly died April 2020 from Covid and is still unwell nearly 2 years later. I'm only at week 4 so hopefuly it'll clear soon. I used my daughters Peak flow meter that she has for asthma. Pre covid I could blow the...

Festive Frolics 2021 - Aftermath and pics

I might go retro or Cannondale Quick 29er / hybrid weirdo. At the moment I'm lying in bed in the grip of Covid. Feels like a bad cold. Just a pain having to isolate until the 12th. I'm only on day 2 and bored

I sold the Voodoo because I'd used it 4 times since I bought it in Feb 2019. It was just sitting doing nothing.

Festive Frolics 2021 - Aftermath and pics

Hello folks , its been a while. I've not sat on a bike for months but I'm always up for some festive frolics. I've whittled the bikes down and don't have a modern mountain bike so anything too tech or steep would be a carry for me. Plus the bottle has gone for anything other than fairly easy...

Re: Great video Jamie and I liked the Dunkeld vid on your Vimeo. That was the time Mr P brought his collie dug and had to go back to find it. Jocks comedy fall into the bracken was priceless. While we're reminiscing this is one of my favourites. Filmed by Aaron. I'm glad he missed my otb on...

Re: I don't know if the link will work. If it doesn't you'll find it on FB Marketplace Somebody might be interested but I think £600 for a Kona Explosive with a dented and cracked frame is a bit steep even if it does have XT/XTR , Hope and Middleburn kit...

Anyone been to Glenlivet trail centre? I'm going to be in Tomintoul for a wee family break 3-5th August and it would be a shame not to visit the trails however my 19 year old daughter , who has never been mountain biking , wants to come with me !! I'm sure she'd manage the blue but how red is...

    SuperV with a super price!

Re: About 5 years ago I won one of these on ebay for £95. Excellent original condition. Sold it for £250. I've no idea how the seller dreamed up that price

Re: Re: I bought a Bizango a year before I retired using the cycle2work scheme. I spent £100 on a dropper post and £30 on a smaller chainring. Its a crackin bike for the money. I'm now riding steeper , rockier stuff that would have had me over the bars on the old school , skinny tyred bikes I...
