Does anyone have a spare 1980s or possibly 90s Campag 27.0mm seat post they don't need? It's the last part of my jigsaw to get my Chris Marshall back on the road. Ideally Super Record, would look at other options too if you have something- I'd love to ride it again! Thanks in advance :)

A quick skim through my copy doesn't show a double page spread of the mercier, but there are lots of photos of it and I may well have missed the large photo. There's plenty of detail though with close up shots of all the components, drop outs etc.

Re: 1" Ahead style stem, preferably flat or low rise, 130-14 Thanks everyone- I realised yesterday that the bars I'm using are riser bars with a brace, so the usual stems won't fit. I need a stem with a bolt on or hinged front section, like a Syncros. Anyone got something like this spare?

I'm looking for a stem to fit my Bontrager- the front end is a little too high so I'm trying to lower the bars a little. I've got a Syncros stem at the moment which I'd be happy to swap for something as good- between 130 and 140mm, and preferable zero degrees or a small rise, but a good quality...

Re: Goldtec titanium collection for a build I can't justify these, but they're absolutely lovely- I used a set exactly the same when racing back in the day and they were soooooo smooth and light. I really regret selling them and can't recommend them highly enough. Have a free bump on me!

Thanks :) It's a 17.5" centre to top. The look's accidental as they're the only parts I had but I'm pretty happy with it. I especially love the Pace forks and the whole nickel plate thing...

It's earlier than the '98 model shown- it's a 1" headset, and it's polished- nickel plated. Could be either '96, '95 or '94 from the info on BikePedia (good source by the way). I'm not that bothered about its actual age, it's been built up as a 6 speed :shock: with nickel plated Pace RC30s and...

Sorted, found a 26.6mm which fits perfectly :) bike now built!

Doh! That'll teach me to post with a hangover... It's a Dragon, not a Dakar... Definitely smaller than 26.8...

So finally getting around to putting together a Dakar frame I bought from here a year or so ago :oops: I've mislaid the seat post, and none of the posts I have as spare fit. It looks like its 26.6, can anyone confirm this before I start looking for one? Frame is 1998 or thereabouts, tange...
