    Carrera Maxima - 1995?

Anyone have any idea what model this Carrera frame is? Came with fairy basic Altus running gear, 1" headset. I can't find the frame number either! Must be 1994/95/96 vintage. I'm guessing 1995. Will post better pics once I've cleaned it.

    Barracuda Arrival

Looks to be an early UK Barracuda Arrival. Massively overpriced and has a crack in the head tube, photos worthy of a £10 bike too. Has been on Ebay for a long time - seller won't give me the frame number either. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/196561480585

    Holdsworth Mistral - Wheel size?

I've been looking at Holdsworth Mistral bikes/frames and some seem to have 700c wheels and others 27x 1x1/4 Did they change at some point during the production run, or is it just owners swapping around? What size wheels were the frames built for? Anyone know? Lack of catalogues in the archive.

    Coyote Hardtail/Full Suspension - MTS

I'm struggling to find much in the way of photos, or information online so maybe here is a good place to ask. Does anyone know anything about these Coyote bikes? Question prompted as I've seen the red one for sale - not that I'm likely to buy it. It's in Manchester and according to the seller...

    Falcon Equaliser

The components are garbage, but that frame looks interesting. £20 in Norwich, not mine. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1778619102730331/

    Barracuda Bronx

Been keeping an eye on Gumtree in case something comes up to help identify my bike. Had to share this one? Maybe @novocaine would like it for your collection? The frame looks good, the components not so much, only £50 though...

    Rebellion Way - Norfolk

Except for @kaydee, has anyone else ridden the Rebellion Way? As a local, I know many of the tracks around Norwich, not so much those along the coast road and Kings Lynn areas. https://www.cyclinguk.org/routes/rebellion-way-map-and-gpx-file May well try and tackle it in stages over this Summer...

    ST-M320 shifter pod mount compatibility

I've tracked down a replacement lhs Exage shifter for my Trek, but it's missing the shifter pod. No problem, I've got spares, STX-RC and a slightly more basic set. However it seems Shimano have changed the mount slightly and the newer pods don't fit. Anyone else run into this?

    DNA Frames (leaflet)

No sign of date but reckon this is 1997 or later. Shows the 'Tube' and 'Big Bones' frames.

    531 Claud Butler

Is this likely to be a 531 frame as the seller claims, or is it just the forks? Ebay: 1977 CLAUD BUTLER 58.5CM VINTAGE REYNOLDS 531 STEEL BICYCLE FRAME https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/296766664165

    Barracuda (UK) Frame/Serial Numbers

I need some help. Probably professional help, but I digress. Having been riding this bike for 20 years, I've been a lot more proactive the last 9 months trying to figure out what it is from the frame number - AM9612130 https://www.retrobike.co.uk/threads/identify-unknown-dbr.104694/ I have...

    Pegasus Colorado

I don't know much about this one. Thought I'd share it for interest. Components are bottom range, but the frame is interesting. No sign of a frame number. It's a 1994 if the rear derailleur is original.

    Not a Holdsworth?

I mean it looks like one, but the frame number doesn't seem right. Frame number is M8F11913 Looking for something to replace my Holdsworth Equipe and found this.

For Sale Manitou Mach 5 Stanchions

Got a pair of very nice/mint Manitou Mach 5 Stanchions - I can add pics if there is any interest. No marks or scratches that I remember. £20 plus post. They've been sitting in a box of Marzocchi spares for several years and I don't think I'll ever need them.

    1998? Giant Track Expert

Just a couple of photos of one of the workaday retro bikes we have around the family. This is Dad's Giant Track, fairly sure it is a 1998 as it doesn't appear in the 1997 catalogue. Apart from the seats, stem and brake pads, everything is original I believe. I've always thought it unusual to...

Shimano Parallax - what does it mean?

In 1994, Shimano introduced Parallax hubs to the XT groupset. They were also available on many other groups around the same time until the late 1990s. As far as I'm aware, the difference was a larger hub body. But what does 'Parallax' mean and why did Shimano decide to use that word?
