    1990's De Rosa EL Frameset

Really nice De Rosa frameset with lovely chrome lugs on the headtube. In my view this is probably as good as it gets with classic Italian steel frames from the 90's. I bought a similar De Rosa Primato frameset a couple of years ago and absolutely love the ride feel. Not cheap but it's an...

    Claud Butler Frame Numbers 1960's - 1980's

This is definitely a topic that Peachy has a strong interest in, so I hope I'm not invading another Claud man's space. Long story short. I used to ride a yellow version of this frame to school in the early 70's and then my younger brother had this Blue Flam frameset a few years later. I bought...

    1956 Claud Butler New Allrounder

I've been thinking about doing a genuine "Claud" Claud Butler build for a few years now but nothing suitable had come along until earlier this year. For me genuine Claud Butler meant something produced before he went bust in late 1956 and the Bi-Laminate frame was probably his most iconic. So...

    De Rosa - Giro D'Italia

It's about time I got my act together and started posting pics of some the classic steel frames I've been collecting over the last few years. I'd been looking for a De Rosa Frameset in 56/57 for ages, but virtually nothing came up in my price range (sub £500). Then last year a frame came up on...

    Campanolo Centaur Rear Mech

I'm looking for a Campagnolo Centaur rear mech, preferably 10 speed, though 9 speed would probably work ok. I'm converting my Eddy Merckx Corsa Extra to ErgoShifters and would like to complete a Centaur 10 speed groupset. Thanks

    Large Flange Hubs

Hi. I'm looking for a pair of large flange hubs in good condition cosmetically with smooth bearings. They need to be 36 hole with quick release axles and original skewers. In an ideal world I'd like Campagnolo Record large flange hubs but would happily settle for a good quality lookalike. Thanks

    Romani 'Gypsy' Frame

I've included 'Gypsy' in the title because the listing seems to wander around the various types of tubing the frame could be made from. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/181286856434 8) 8) 8)

Rockshox Reba All Travel Spacers - Found

Hi. I'm hoping someone can help me out with a few all travel spacers that I can use to reduce the travel on a pair of Reba forks down from 115mm to 85mm. I bought the forks secondhand to go on my 94 Lavadome and need to get the suspension travel down to around 80-85mm to avoid the "chopper...

    Kona Racelight Seatpost 27.0mm

Hi I've now decided not to do a period rebuild on my 94 Kona Lava Dome so I no longer need a Racelight seatpost. Thanks to Dan for sorting out some pics. Anyone after a Racelight seatpost should contact him Thanks Marcus

Is This Tyre Safe To Use

Just taken this tyre off an oldish wheelset and found one of the metal beads broken where it has rusted. The tread on the tyre is still ok, so do you think it would be safe to use if I tidied up the frayed wire and used some tape to protect the inner tube.

    1994 Kona Lava Dome

Bought this 1994 Lava Dome frame/fork combo thru the "mtb For sale" forum from mayco a week or so ago. I wanted a nice light steel frame that could be built up as a family trail/town shopper and still be used on singletrack if needed. Found a couple of hours today to start the build going...

V Brake Levers with CentrePull/Caliper Brakes

Hi. I'm looking to build up a retro hybrid bike using a 531 road frame & forks with flat bars and 8/9 speed V Brake/Shifter combos. What I'd like to know is how the cable pull on V Brake levers relates to the cable pull required for CentrePull/Caliper Brakes. Cheers for any info 8)...

    Saracen Urban Cruiser

Found this Saracen RuffTrax Pro frame at my local recycling centre, complete with rusted chainset, dodgy brakes and bright yellow suntour suspension forks. Took it home, stripped it down and replaced the knackered bits with stuff I had lying around, plus a cheapo set of forks off ebay. I...

    Saracen Catalogue Scans

Hi. Just aquired a nice looking blue Saracen Rufftrax Pro from my local recycling centre and was wondering how old it might be. Saw a post refering to Saracen catalogue scans by neilll, but can't find where they've been posted. Any help much appreciated.
