I am converting 1996 Peugeot hybrid to a single speed. The specs are: 700c wheels MAVIC cassette with Halo Fat Foot sprocket 17t 68mm bb shell Campagnolo Chorus Cranks (172.5) with 43t ring on the outside. Would a 111mm axle length be about right?

Just fitting a 1" split crown race to a pair of 1" Tange forks. It fits snug and the steerer is bare metal clean. But that gap seems somewhat large. I'm used to solid crown races and have the tool for them. What do you think?

My YST 1" crown race has cracked upon removal. I'm guessing most other makes will fit, so long as they are not the 'split' versions for sealed cartridge bearings. I'll take a chance on what turns up. NOS very much appreciated!

The last part to fit and I'm not sure what fits? The outside frame length is 23mm Inside frame is 15mm Bolt diameter is 6mm It's notched as well. Anyone know or have what Roberts were using in the period?

I have to replace the B tension spring in my XTR M950. Thanks to member Matttymm, who sent me one. I've had this problem before with other rear mechs. How do you wind the B tension plate back in with the spring without it distorting or scoring an ugly gouge across the mech?

I knackered the spring yesterday trying to reassemble the rear mech. They are a pain to get back in. Any spare ones? Thanks all
