Hi, I’ve been offered this Clockwork for sale but the decals look a bit off to me (not seen any with the same font). I think it’s been repainted as there’s no original Tange decal and one from Argos cycles on the bottom of the seat tube. any ideas? Buy or steer clear?? any help appreciated...

In the market for a retro MTB (Orange Clockwork etc). Can these (say 90’s bikes) still be ridden hard off road? Don’t want it to be a garage queen! Thanks jon

Ohh yeah.. both in fab condition - you know what they are. Stem is an Open Road but remove the decals and turn it upside down and it's an Open Trail (they ARE the same stem). 31.8 clamp and 100mm, 10deg post is layback, 27.2 and 300mm rail to end. Very light scuffing up to 11cm from bottom...
