The chain-stay has cracked on my SM90.
I've stripped it down and selling parts individually
The Switchblade forks have a seperate thread.
The front mech, Suntour.
Rear mech Shimano XT.
Tioga T-Bone stem.
Taperlite bars (Chopped).
XT thumb shifters.
Deore levers.
Deore front break, generic V...
It was bound to happen... the chain-stay has finally cracked on my trusty SM90; despite a make-shift repair using metal glue and aluminium from beer cans that lasted five years : )
Selling it for parts - see for sales section.
Got a tiny crack in my cannondale frame.
Near the BB by the crimping.
I've run a little super glue over it and touched up the paint.
How much time do you think it's got, light trail riding and comuting.
Or is there a trick repair??
I bolted a new Shimano HG70 11 to 28 th rear block onto my trusty old Shimano Deore XT (14G FM- M732) hub yesterday.
I have problems.
The cassette is loose.
The rings are rattling.
The shifting has gone to f**k.
I screwed in the lock ring TIGHT! really tight, with a two foot lever...
I need a new seven speed block. Usually use Shimano but just seen the Sram PG 730. It has holes drilled in it, I'm assuming to keep it light. But is it any good?
Shimano or Sram?
Hi.
Pleases advise.
I stupidly striped the thread on both crank arms of my Shimano Deore XT drive chain whilst attempting to replace the bearings in the bottom bracket of my 1989 Cannondale Mountain bike. SM900 or 1000 I think, black.
So I need to replace.
Being an old weight...
