Hi, had a hard job peeling off some sticky backed handlebar tape which has left a lot of sticky residue in the form of ridge lines. What’s the best thing for clearing it off. Tried some nail polish remover but that didn’t work very well.

Hi perhaps an unusual request however i’ve just purchased a Raleigh 531 built in 1985 and the wheelbase looks quite short at 38 inches, whereas my earlier 80’s competition in TI colours is more like 39 inches. Did Raleigh start making their road bikes shorter by 1985.
