    1998 Trek Y3 Frame, £25.

I've owned this since new but not used it since about 2001. It's been lying in my parents garage since and they are having a clearout so I stripped the bike to get my DX thumbshifters and pretty much junked the rest. I'll strip off the V-brakes and bottle cage and am happy to post it. It all...

XT M750 short cage rear mech back plate.

Hi all, I've damaged the back plate (seperate plate that comes off when you remove the jockey wheels) on my xt rear mech. It's a short cage (66mm between jockey wheel bolt holes c-c). Even a damaged/worn out mech would do as long as the back plate is intact. Cheers!

    2004 Specialized Enduro expert.

I have too many bikes and this gets used the least due to my recent re-discovery of the joys of hardtail '90s steel. It's a 2004 model but has had a new drivetrain just before i bought it. I have fitted a new race face headset and more recent fox forks and it has a mavic front wheel plus a an...

    Modern Avid disc brakes.

My Magura rim brakes suck in the wet/mud and as thats 95% of my rides i was thinking of fitting a disc brake. I have avid juicy ultimates on my "proper" bike and they are brilliant, my mate has a juicy 5 kicking about that i could have but the prob is its for the rear. Can i flip the lever...

    RC36 crown race problem.

Hi all, i bought a new race face headset for my kona and when i went to start building up my bike i found that the crown race slips over the steerer tube and feels far too loose. It has a 1mm gap and jiggles about when you shake the fork! Ive measured the steerer and its 1 1/8th in diameter...

'96 Cinder Cone, Rebuilding my old bike!

Well as per my original post i managed to re-acquire a bike that i originally bought brand new in '96. It was my old XC race bike and was a very nimble machine. Especially compared to the trek y-bike that i bought after it! I bought it as a frame only and build it up myself at the bright old age...
