I have a set of mavic 230s, 231s and 232s does anyone know what time era they may be from, I know the 231 and 232 are early - mid 90s but dont know anything about the 230. which of the 3 should i build onto my deore dx hub?

I have just come into two alpinestars framesets - one 1991 Almega dx - (the yellow and white one) and a 1992 Cromega dx (red one) I only have the bits to build one of them - which should it be? I hear the Al mega is rarer, but the cro mega is more likley to be useable when finished.

is £125 too much to pay for a 1991 alpinestars al mega xt frame and fork? Its the black and white one - my 'unicorn' - always wanted it, been looking for ages but it just seems a bit too much for just a frame and fork in average condition. I just donk know what to do... I am an emotional werck...
