Had to stop off at our local scip yard(work related) the other day and noticed a road bike sitting at the back in good condition bar needing new tyres......... Asked one of the guys about it and he just said take it away! Anyway it's been resprayed a nice shade of blue at some point...

The cages on both pairs of pedals(beartraps) I have are creaking like buggery much to my annoyance. Any ideas how I can solve this as I've not got the cash to buy new ones at the moment... The cage screws are done up to their tightest but still creaking when under force :roll:

I've never been too bothered about wearing a lid however i've now decided to go for one. Maybe i'm getting older or the fact i'm commuting 5 miles each way on quite a busy road, I just feel I should get one now. Soooo whats decent and what's not?

Lovely weather here in scotland this evening. Mrs not feeling well so said she was off to soak in the bath so thought i'd get out for another ride in the woods behind my house for a bit- Not demanding trails by any means, just nice and handy to nip out on for a bit of R&R :)

A mate has text me about his m-trax, he bought it when we were at school, i can't remember what model it was :oops: however, he's got xt/lx parts on it, flite saddle, manitou's(i remember him saving for ages for these) and some other nice parts. Last time i saw the bike it looked pretty good...

What's your mrs hobby/passtime whatever you wanna call it? My mrs doesn't get the cycling thing, nor did she get the motorbike thing(would not EVER go on any of my bikes with me :roll: ) but she is into horse riding and has two horses, a dark bay called squire and a foal connemarra/irish sports...
