Shimano 600ex Arabesque chainset or similar

Hi I'm after a shimano 600ex double chainset (170 or above) with 52/42 or roughly similar (i.e. 50-53/38-42). Also happy to consider Ofmega, Campagnolo, etc, of the same era. ...maybe even a Stronglight or TA triple... Cheers!

    R.A. Blackwell cycles, Hackney.

Someone's listed a nice looking mid-50's RA Blackwell on eBay. Not a maker I'm familiar with and there almost zero only information online. The shop was at 419 Hackney Road, E2. Which is local enough to me to get me interested. Anyone able to provide any insight? ..Sadly the sight is now a new...

    60cm steel bike

I've offered to help sort a friend out with a decent vintage still bike. I'm thinking 70s/80s with a full 531 or similar frameset, mid range groupset. Mudguard eyes ok but nothing to tourer-ish. Tidy paint work. He's a 6 footer so something around 60cm aka 23 1/2". Budget is around £200...

Lugless claud butler with rare decal

Seller says it's 1930s but I read on classic lightweights these decals we're only used briefly in the early 50s. Some interesting parts. 56cm frame. £250 BIN: https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre ... 2298501270

Nice looking 50s Ken Russell badge bike.

Interesting looking machine. Classic lightweights suggests these were built by JF Wilson of Sheffield. 20"(?) Frame. Williams crank. Brooks Swallow. If genuine it must be pretty rare. Weird pictures make it difficult to get too much information. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre ...

    Weinmann 750 or 730 calipers + levers

I'm after some long reach calipers for a 27" to 700c conversion. I'd prefer 750 centre-pulls but could happily go for 730 side pulls. Levers: drilled would be nice but not essential. Hoods would be great, gum hoods even better. Cheers Nonowt

Long drop brakes- retro or modern?

I've picked up a massive 26" ctc 79s condor and plan to upgrade to 700c wheels. So should I go mafac racers or something like some extra long drop Tektros? And if I go modern will I be able to run them with vintage levers?

Mudguard stays and Lyotard dust cap.

As above please. Stays like these below (I need 4) And a Lyotard dust cap for a Marcel Bertel pedal. I don't mind if they're tarnished or a bit rusty as long as they do the job. Cheers Nonowt

    1953 Ellis Briggs Superbe

Well this lovely Hercules got moved on a few weeks ago ( viewtopic.php?f=23&t=358361&hilit=Hercules&start=10 ) So I've been looking another mini project and spotted an Ellis Briggs on eBay. It was too small for me and out at Southend, so I posted it in the eBay watch section on here but it...

50s Ellis Briggs. Southend. Finished 19.20 today.

Keep coming back to this one but it's too small for me (21 1/2 - 22"). Looks like a 50s Superbe model with original simplex gears, gb brakes etc. I don't think the paint is original. £100 and no bids as yet. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/232419151106

Double sq tapered crankset / 126OLD clincher rear wheel

I'm after a 70s early 80s 52/42 crankset something French (but English threaded) like stronglight, TA or even Solida would be nice. Or maybe SR or Shimano 105 (golden arrow) or 600 arabesque. 170 or 172.5 crank arms. I don't mind a few scratches as long as the threads and teeth are good. Also...

Rare 50's Clifton Cycles Lightweight. £135 ONO W. Sussex

Nice 60cm frame with quality lugs. Looks to have been re-sprayed by Argos (not quite the right colour IMHO - looks a bit mid 80s). Has the original single Stronglight/TA? crank and Primo stem. Can't gather much else from the photos but looks a total bargain to me. The seller (not me) states...
