I'm at the gear stage of my rebuild and on fitting the gear cable noticed there was no adjuster barrel. The rear mech is a suntour ax5000(?) off a muddyfox courier and it has, I think friction shifters. Question is do i need a barrel adjuster with friction shifters? If the answer is yes...

My rear derailleur seems to be missing its barrel adjuster. Does anyone have one suited to a sun tour 5000 series rear mech? Please pm me if you can assist .
