Got a Tracer Crankset and wanting to get smaller chainrings. Measuring the BCD seems to be 70mm center to center. This makes 140mm BCD. Please tell me I am an idiot and measuring wrong?

Got an old Wayfarer as basically a box of bits and it was missing a few parts. Had levers but no brakes. Ones I fitted a pretty long drop but still catch the tyres so wondered if anyone knew what was originally fitted or how long the drop was so I can source replacements. Thanks
