    Mystery fork

This came on a Ritchey Ultra, late 80s. Wondering what this fork is. It looks a bit like a Pace fork but I havent seen others exactly like this one.

    Proflex 852 Offroad

Got this peach of a Proflex 852 locally in Toronto. 20" ctt, 22" tt. I'm not sure if I am going to borrow the m732 parts for a different build and trade the frame for something else but we will see. Loving the saddle. Girvin stem and rigid proflex forks are pretty cool.

    FS/FT: 1992 Mongoose IBOC Pro Frame/Fork/Headset

1992 Mongoose IBOC PRO frame, fork and Tioga Avenger headset (new bearings). Aluminum main frame and stays, 4130 cr-mo fork. These have the unusual triangular top tube and are somewhat sought after if you're into pink bikes. In overall good condition. No visible dents that I can see but...

How much is my 198# Mongoose Pro frame and fork worth?

This was the #1 MTB in Mongoose's lineup at the time. I believe it is a 1986-1988 based on the components that came with it (6 speed XT M730). The frame is in good condition, the paint is fair to good. There is cable rub, chips and scratches but the frame is sound. I have been trying to sell...

I've got these for sale on eBay. There isn't a UK option but I know a lot of you chaps are over on that side. Smaller packages (aka everything but crankset) under 500g to the UK are about $11 CDN surface and about $20 CDN for air. http://www.ebay.ca/sch/narhay67/m.html? ... pg=&_from=

Mongoose IBOC Pro steel/aluminum looptail MTB

I purchased this today. It is a mix of Deore, DX and XT. I saw one other example here which has some catalogue scans. That one says it is 1992 but has a few slight differences to mine. viewtopic.php?f=6&t=257825

    Narhay's 1987 Mongoose Pro

I rescued this from a student's balcony where it had been languishing for 2 years last night. He, or the previous owner, was a serial stickerer...an offence which should be punishable by some sort of gulag. The frame paint is not great...lots of scrapes and stickers but it is all there and...

    Narhay's Parkpre Pro 825

Appears to have components dated to Q (1992) but looks more like a 1994 based on the only catalogue I could find here: http://www.parkpre.com/bikecatalog94/pages/paged.htm I picked it up tonight and it is already in about seventy billion pieces in my living room. Has a pretty funky crimped seat...

    XT m730/732 skewer rubber rings

Does anyone have an inexpensive and easy to find replacement for the rubber o ring that attaches to the drive side female nut? Mine are brittle and starting to come apart. On the right side of the photo below. I thought maybe something in the plumbing section at a hardware store might work but...

    1996 Merlin Titanium bottom bracket

Anyone know which bottom bracket width, length and threading for a FC-M730 XT triple crank with a M732 XT 7 speed rear hub for a 1996 Merlin Titanium?

Heresy: I am not a Flite man

Yes, bring out your pitchforks, tar and feathers. I have a 90s Flite titanium saddle and I find it very uncomfortable. My sit bones just don't get supported properly and I keep having to shift around while riding in as little as 500m. I'm pretty sure you could classify my sit bones as being...

    Narhay's Rocky Mountain Sherpa (1984-1986?)

Hello. I was hoping you retrobikers might be able to assist me in identifying this Rocky Mountain Sherpa. It has a set of Deore XT Deerhead M700 derailleurs and shifters, a lugged steel frame and a few other bits of note. If you could help me ID the bike and let me know about some of the parts...

    Narhay's 1991 Rocky Mountain Fusion

I picked this Rocky Mountain Fusion up to do a bit of a rehab project. It will probably go at cost to a coworker who wants to throw some slicks, rack and fender onto it to commute to work if they like it and it fits. It has obviously been used but from what I see it looks like it had been...

Sourcing cantilever posts/bosses for Rock Shox Duke XC

As the title states I have had my Merlin Titanium sitting in my living room for the past few months. All that is holding up the final build is to find some cantilever bosses/studs/posts for a Rock Shox Duke XC fork to install the V-brakes onto. From some research they might be M8 but I'm not...

LF: Rock Shox Duke XC Cantilever Boss Bolt

I believe these might be it below. Hoping to install my xt v brakes onto the fork but I don't have the bosses to do so. I could purchase them below but shipping to Canada after it is all said and done comes out around $20+ per bolt which seems like a bit much...

    1990 Gary Fisher CR-7 Evoution

I have this frame, forks, seat post, stem, handlebars and bottom bracket sitting in my living room. It is scratched up and some surface rust has set into some of the scratches. The scratches are all cosmetic in nature...the bike is mechanically sound. Wondering if I should have it repainted or...
