The wheels on my track bike have started to show signs of failure - sealed Gipiemme hub affairs. I'd like to go a little more period with some replacements (whether authentic age or at least in looks). 120mm solid axle, but needs to be single speed rather than fixed wheel. Any suggestions?

Specifically a 6 speed BX. Cosmetically good, internally it's horrendous. How do you free the sprockets from the spindle? There's two pin holes on the top but a standard pin spanner doesn't fit or engage the holes properly. Cheers...

1984 super record rear mech allied to 1014 DT levers; question: how well does this work as a 7 speed set-up? I'm looking at a 52 front ring with 24 (perhaps) rear cog. Work well or better as a 6 speed set-up with the same ratios? any experience gratefully received.

Unwittingly picked up a frame that I assumed to be Columbus TSX but turns out to be MS. Not a huge amount of info out there on the interwebs; anyone got any info as to the why's? It's interesting but looks obscenely expensive to make the tubes and from what little bit there is on the interwebs...

Nothing that hasn't been done before but I've longed for one for quite some time. Took a fair amount of time to get this all together although not 100% period but quite close. Rear triangle & forks de-anodised and then polished. Thousands of tiny yellow paint spots removed from the frame...
