In need of a tyre guru i think... these things are more complicated than i first thought... what i want is a set of regular tread tyres for tarmac and bridal path use... however.. i notice upon doing so that a lot of the time the wheels and tyres end up looking too small for the bike...

Just bought a set of these and they are great shifters, however.. when in friction mode you can hear the sound of scraping due to small gritty bits gumming them up... does anyone know of a tutorial on how to strip these down without springs and small parts popping off and never to be seen...
