They came off a Shimano Sora equipped bike so I'd guess a similar quality. Brand new and never used. They are silver and made from steel. I don't really think a picture is necessary but I will take one if anybody wants them. 130mm bcd. I was thinking £15 posted for the lot but feel free to make...

This seems less than what I've seen them go for and thought it may be of some interest. May be wrong year etc, have a look.

I know you'll all think I'm mental for this, but I just want to try it. I've been looking at a modern bike with a retro twist but it comes Single Speed and needs some work doing to it. Any frames, (or bikes maybe), out there I might be interested in?
Regards, Robin
My friend is on the lookout for one of these. He's not really bothered about condition, as he wants it as cheap as possible  . Preferably fully rigid. What's out there.
Regards, Rob
How rare are these exactly? I've been put in contact with a little American shop that's asking $7 per hanger. Should I rip his hand off and order the full two sets?
Thanks, Rob
Any brightly coloured ring considered. For a compact road chainset, so a 110 bcd 5 bolt mtb ring should fit. after a 36, 48 &/ or 42/44.
Doesn't need to be these exact sizes, so if you have something that fits the bill, post it up. :)
Thanks, Rob
I'm looking to buy a raleigh road bike off ebay in the next couple of hours. After speaking to the seller, it has a raleigh sized bb shell, not standard sized. Are new bbs for this easy to find or should I just give it a miss? Not sure of year or model btw.
Any advice would be great.
Thanks...
At the visitor centre earlier. One of you was on a green Dekerf and another on a Moots Ti soft-tail. I'm sure I recognised Mr. Moots from the start line of HONC. (front row). Riding a red MuddyFox with white Judys? I think.
I was in a group wearing orange jerseys. If it was you, sorry...
Just eyeing my options really. Want to build a cheap fixie to commute to college on. I did see one on another site but the seller has not contacted me. So what you all got? Regards, Rob
(Cheap as poss, obviously)
I don't like these "how much is it worth" threads
Sorry, this is a little bit unusual, and I don't know if I'd get an answer if I posted it elsewhere. What's it worth? As a bike or as a frame only?

If anyone should know, I reckon it's you lot.
The new ones with violet iridium lenses are tempting me, a little ott but cool all the same.
Bottom line, do they stay on your 'ed? Not exactly ultra wrap around are they?
Thanks, Rob
In regards to your lost Garmin, did you lose it at HONC?
If so, there is a notice on their homepage about a lost one that was handed in. Garmin 201 GPS I think it said.

Hi there.
I've seen a lovely Cyclocross frameset for sale. The only problem is that it only accepts a 6 speed cassette due to a small rear spacing. Do you know of any 6-speed Sti levers and also what other options would be out there for me. Is the spacing between the sprockets the same as 8...
As per title. I've found one I really like the look of but after contacting the seller he says the "overall" headtube diameter is 1" 7/16". Not a size I'm familiar with
What do you all reckon the internal headtube diameter is. It's a 1995 remake of the original if that helps.
Thanks, Rob
A friend of mine is selling a cyclocross frameset and the rear spacing is 120mm. Are hubs sold at that width any more and would I be able to squeeze a 130mm hub in the back? It's aluminium. Would my 8-speed cassette fit on an older hub?
Thanks in advance, Rob
