    1991 Specialized Stumpjumper Comp Refurbish.

The 2nd mtb I ever owned was a 1991 Stumpy Comp, purchased new, ridden and raced for many years as it came from the factory. The years came and went, as did the mountain bikes, and the old stumpy was always in the back of my mind. Over the past 5+ years I have felt the need to find my first...

Past memories from old pics, 90's Aussie racing :)

https://plus.google.com/photos/10298291 ... 5899654273 I have been fortunate to be able to scan many pics from an album which contained shots from our early 90's race trips and events. Many are from Nationals at Canberra and Thredbo, some are local Gold Coast club events and riders. Some...

    Cannondale Pepperoni suspension fork

Anyone here have or know where I might be able to get my hands on a Cannondale Pepperoni suspension fork, circa 1991-1993 with the curved blades? Looking at a possible old school Cannondale rebuild and need a fork to suit medium size (17") frame. Happy to pay shipping to Australia for the...

    Proflex 856 sizing question.

I am 170cm/5'7" in height. Wondering if a large size Proflex 856 is too tall for me? Apparantly the frame measures 18" to top of seat tube and Top Tube measures 58cm c-c. This would be built up for offroad use. Thoughts please.

    1990ish Condor?

Picked this up recently from ebay for the princely sum of $36.00. My question is does anyone know anything about the Condor brand and their bikes, specifically MTB? I had a look at their website and sent an enquiry. The bike is made using Reynolds 531 Magnum and 531 fork tubing, had...

    Specialized Stumpjumper 1990 refurb.

This is the bike I have spent the past 10 days stripping, cleaning and refurbishing to look as close to new as I could make it. I bought the bike from the original owners son who informed me his Father rarely rode the bike :) much better than "really" riding it  for my project...

    Tyre years?

Wondering if someone can help with identifying what year the Timbuk II and Tioga Pshyco TT/Edge tyres came out. I have a good set of each and am wondering which to put on my Ritchey P23 rebuild?

1990 Stumpjumper, my new project :)

This arrived for me today after about 3 months of negotiating and trying to organise freight to my home :) Will be stripping, cleaning and rebuilding bike. As far as I can tell the bike is virtually 100% original except for the Q/R skewers and seat binder. Has anyone got a set of nos or...

Pieces to finish my Ritchey P-23 build.

Hi, I need to find a 22.2mm quill stem in approximately 120mm length with a bar clamp size of 25.4mm to suit the Ritchey I am rebuilding. The stem needs to have a mount for the cable to run through and act as a stopping point to allow my cantis to work. Black or silver is fine. Also after a...
