The free hub is blocking the tool from entering the slots. It only goes in about 1mm and this slips. Any ideas? Thanks

Will the wide profile of the shimano 732 work best or the later shimano 733. I have some shimano m733 (I had planned to fit to a Dawes galaxy but I don’t think they will fit particularly well). Also, are these pads ‘touring pads’ and are these optimal? Any advice would be appreciated.

First I bought some Swiss Stop pads but the rattled around and weren’t a tight fit. So I bought some Shimano pads and the are too long and also not a snug fit If I put the screw in I can still slide the pads out What’s going on And what are the little metal things?
