Just got this bike off eBay , Seller owned it 10+ years and said it was a 96 however after much searching I think it's a 98? The serial start MT710 (Oct 97?) rather than the usual AO but I did see a mention of this being normal for 98 on bikes as well as the seat post gap being put on the front...

Just acquired a early Inbred frame which I was going to add a disc brake mount but I'm thinking I might just keep it V Brake and retro. Are they any decent budget ( under £100 ) wheel sets still available that will cope with xc riding or should I be looking used?

Just picked this up this today, I know its not the greatest spec bike out there but was cheap and i quite like it totally original even the tyres bike has not done much :) Only problems are some fading to the paintwork and a few odd marks on the frame which i think is oxerdisation of some sort...

Just bought this bike from the Charity shop for £18 inc pannier, Not sure what to do though the bike works great only needing a rear tyre as its out of shape. I'm wanting to make it less grandady so any help appreciated I am thinking lose the panniers/rack and change the bars but not sure...

Trying to build up my old Raleigh as a cheapo rat ride the only thing it needed was a replacement rear wheel which I got NOS for a tenner, Got the same size same make and pattern as front but just noticed the front is bigger :$ Rear is 1 3/8 front is 1 1/4 so about 7mm difference i'm assuming...

Just ventured into retro mtb and bought my first retro. Hopefully it was a good buy as im not too knowledgeable but the LX and XT bits were decent stuff from what i remember. The seller was told it was a Dave Hinde frame but the only markings are a number stamped on rear dropout starting LS...
