    Cantilever boss thread ?

Hi I'm currently building up a tandem using a 1952 Claud Butler frame. At some point it has had cantilever bosses installed & I'm trying to work out what the thread is to get some replacement bolts. It's definitely not an M6 like is used today for cantilever brakes. Anyone got any ideas ?

OLMO road bike 56cm for possible trade for track bike.

Hi, I have this OLMO that I restored. it's made of ORIO tubing 56cm. I've ridden it twice since having the frame powder coated. It's all Campagnolo (Mirage, Centaur, Veloce)apart from the seat pin & the headset. The problem is it's just a bit small for me. I have been toying with the idea...

    campagnolo xenon/mirage questions

Hello, I've just finished rebuilding an OLMO which uses Campagnolo xenon shifters & a mirage rear mech (not sure of front mech, bur it's Campagnolo) using an 8 speed block. generally the system seems to work, possibly requiring some tweaking. I have some questions, which may seem a bit dumb...

    Rim cement

Just wondering what the best rim cement is nowadays. I have been using the Continental Aluminium Rim cement since I fixed up my old bike last year, but it seems like a really lengthy arduous procedure over several days, & when I take an old tyre off it feels like it's barely stuck on at all...

I'm wanting a 28 hole tubular rim. A Mavic GP4 would be ideal to match the other wheel, but others considered. Must be in good nick.

    difference between 700c & 27" sprint rims

Just wondering how much difference there is between a 700c & an old school 27" sprint rim. I'm using an old pair of wheels for general riding that have 27" rims. & I'm looking at putting a better pair together for some fun entering a few time trials. If I were to opt for some 700c wheels...

Is it possible to get replacement campag wheel bearing cones

As it says in the title. I have been intending to re do the bearings on my old Campagnolo Gran Sport hubs, hence my previous thread asking about the ball bearing size. I stripped the hub down just now & to my horror there is some bad pitting on the cone part of the bearing that fits on the...
