Time for a new block & 3/32 chain so have had a quick look for a silver chain to look smart & match the block & it seems they are now another 'collector's item', priced as though they are actually solid silver. Can anyone recommend an alternative? I'm not that bothered about the period correct...

'A boy a girl & a bike' filmed in 1947 is on today (Sun 10th Feb) on Talking Pictures @ 5.20 (328 on our telly). Simple little tale about trouble in a Yorks town & the local cycling club. Some lovely location shots & the above ladies to hold your interest. Worth recording for another view.

I`ve got some rims to sell & wonder if anyone with more experience can recommend a courier/parcelforce option. I`m thinking I`ll end up with a wrapping of cardboard to form a shallow box about 80cm square by 10cm deep & it will obvioiusly be bulky but pretty light. Thanks for any tips, Julian
