So after 7 years sitting in my garage I'm finally selling this beauty for someone else to revive! It has a crack on the chain stay and on the shock mount sadly. You can see details and advice on possible fixes/ leads for replacement arms on these thread which has pictures of the bike built up...

Scott Strike G-Zero Team Issue 2003

So I built this up finally a month ago and have been loving it - my first full sus. Now I have discovered that the rear is cracked in 2 places - I probably rode it too hard - it is a 'superlight' frame after all, and 'team issue' which usually means 'falls apart after less than a year'...

Recommendations for cracked aluminium swingarm repair?

Hi Just discovered a crack in the chainstay of my bike [Edit - now I find that actually part of the anchor point for the rear shock is coming off also! - is that normal? and how would that even happen? A bottomed out shock maybe..] - a lovely Scott Strike G-Zero Team Edition from 2003. I guess...

    Stuck Hydraulic calliper piston

Ok, so having a nightmare with some Hayes Stroker Carbon hydraulic brakes. The pistons were not moving well so I decided to try and sort them out by pumping them out of their bores to add Dot 4 fluid around them and then easing them back in. To cut a long story short I now have the caliper...

    Hayes Stroker piston problem!

Wondering if you guys could help me out? I have some old Hayes Stroker Carbon hydraulic brakes - can't remember the date I bought them but was about 2 years ago. I had them off the bike lying up coiled, for a while now, and unsurprisingly the pistons have moved out. So I took the pads out...

    Best light deal of Christmas?

Best light deal of Christmas? - RSP night Sabre front and standard rear - seriously great lights. Best quality construction you will ever find at this price - the front especially and the brackets are the best I have come across also - none of that brittle, snap-in-a-day cheap plastic. Only...

Re-attaching teflon coating on fork bushings

So, I have a nice old Psylo Race fork and took it apart for the first time since i got it off ebay a year ago. One of the top bushings in one of the lower legs has had its teflon coating come unstuck - There is no way new bushings are viable - cost more than a new set of nicer...

Red Guerciotti frame (Alan Super Record) - SOLD

SOLD I rode this frame for a few months but then started getting a creaking sound that I could't place. Found out that the lugs are flexing at several points because the glue has evidently dried out or degraded. It is a very beautiful frame and re-gluing lugs is not hard for someone who...
