Just found this is my box of 'stuff', my original 'Mountain Bike Club' membership club, this was the one if I recall out of Thetford and ran the first national series, I raced one of the events at Cannock if I recall. Sadly expired in June 1991, so I guess no good for any member discounts!

The back end of my new to me Fisher CR-7 is 'black chrome'. Being some 20 years old the chrome feel 'rough' to the touch, I'm guessing it's seen some weather over the years, but there's no visible rust. what's the best plan of action, I've read that 'Mothers' brand Chrome polish can...

This just appeared for sale locally, claiming to be a 1984 Alpinestar, was there such a thing back in 1984? Or even '94, I remember the older e-stay alpinestars, but don't recognize this, of course the pic isn't that great. Comments? Worth A follow up?
