Has anyone used one of these as a portable bike cleaning solution? Are they any good?

Specifically their micro adjust Ti seatposts. I actually have two bikes sporting this bit of kit, but I'm starting to think they might not be the best possible design solution. They always seem to want to point the nose of the seat skyward and it takes a bit of a struggle to get a level setting...

Looking for a 531 mtb fork 1" steerer.

...can I take my 1" Direct Drive fork to have the thread extended. Have tried my LBSs and drawn a blank so far. Even long established businesses seem to have abandoned the old stuff completely in favour of Ahead.
