For stopping power, V brakes. For your era LTS, should be cantilevers. The MBUK team were using Onza HO back in the day, you should definitely watch Getta Grip.
Also, have you shared your frame number for the record?
Would you share the frame number from this please? It may help to identify other Merlin frames from around the same time, many seem to have lost their stickers over the years.
I think that's a 1997 build Clockwork - @rwm1962 is one of the Orange experts. @kingbling has one very close in serial number to yours https://www.retrobike.co.uk/threads/join-the-orange-clockwork-club-show-your-bikes.127707/post-2690219
It's a 1995 from the frame number, which indicates the builder is Pacific who were a well known supplier for Muddy Fox - I've personally got a Pacific built Muddy Fox with a frame number on the head tube too.
Indeed. Fairly Bike co, January 1995. The same date as the Coyote owned by @Konsta

And @dandy1 I'd be interested in your frame number too, if that's your bike.
S7CA00264 for the search engine. @kingoffootball may have something else close listed. All I've got are two LTS frames and it definitely isn't one of those!
Way back I posted this:
Well I've also found this in another thread:
I wonder if that is the same rider? Same colour Yellow/Red Muddy Fox, same shorts, same glasses, lock in same location.
