Yes, 1922 or possibly a year to two earlier. Indian changed their corporate name to "Indian Motocycle Co" in 1923; everything gets badged differently starting in 1923. This (and the others known) have the 1922 and earlier badge with the corporate name "Hendee Mfr. CO."

I haven't tried; the Vitalic tires are too valuable in the US for display to take the chance. I guess I could source a rider set of wheels to give it a go.

Here is the NOS boxed one; it has been stored in this box for years and never put on a bike. The gold legs have also turned the jenky mottled green. Does anyone know why the surface finish fails in this manner?
