Have you got any clue how much a new rc35 steerer would cost to replace? and what tools i nned to disconnect from the fork. I undid the alan bolts but the fork is still fixed on the steerer. Cheers Damian

cheers, going to try the above. The stem bolt nut is free after wacking it with a hammer, going to leave it soak in some penertration fluid over night and hopefully it might be looser tomorrow. This bike is not in good shape the seat post is frozen too!!!

Hi , can anyone help me remove a frozen quill stem from my frame. Just bought a bike from eBay with a lovely pair of pace forks, I've been after for a long while . The stem is badly frozen , (not the stem bolt). Is there a painfeee method of removing? otber than leaving wd40 in the top tube...
