    De Rosa Rosso Corsa

I have a few others that I probably shouldn't be riding, but even with my largest frames, I've still got a lot of post showing. Problem with excessive inseam!

Right, another project. Can you swap the whole unit, or just some components?

    De Rosa Rosso Corsa

SITREP: rides extremely nicely for being too small, similar to my '92 De Bernardi SLX, no surpise there. I was worried that the Shamals would be bone jarring on the crappy roads around here, but not the case, and the bike was very stable descending but also quick turning.

Oodles of Cash • Armee de terre' team sponsored So goes Mario Cipollini • Movie

LOL, good old 'Super Mario', definitely put some colour in to the peloton. Not sure if he out-Armstrongs Armstrong in the personality department? I think the government of Brazil allowed a convict out of jail to compete in the 1982 World Cup. They lost anyway.

Thanks for the correction, I guess C Record would have had the Delta brakes? Anyway, yes, it is a couple of cm too small.

    De Rosa Rosso Corsa

I got this from the original owner, a sponsored racer from the 1950's, a '92 SLX with 8 speed C Record and Shamals in near mint condition. It's a little small for me, hence the longer Syncros post swapped in to replace the Campy aero unit. I have a set of correct Campy Record pedals, but need to...

here's Lance Armstrong today. He's retro isn't he

One of my training buddies back in the late 90's was as big a cynic as me. I asked him what he thought of the Armstrong 'miracle comeback'. He just laughed and said it was a medical\cyborg project, nothing to do with athletics.

here's Lance Armstrong today. He's retro isn't he

To get an insight in to this guy's personality, just read Tyler Hamilton's book. Blowback can be a bitch, although Armstrong still came out of it with millions, which speaks volumes for the innately corrupt nature of our society in general.

here's Lance Armstrong today. He's retro isn't he

Anyone remember the Tour de Trump? Anyway, Armstrong will always be a polarising figure, and he used and abused the system just like he was used by the UCI to manipulate and regain a positive image for the sport post-'The Great Doping Scandal'. The levels of cynicism are off the charts here, and...

Cool, she was a real hero to us on the west coast BITD. I remember when she did an event at the co-op on Broadway, and some scumbag stole her bike from in front of the store.
