    Very original Ridgeback 603GX

It doesn’t look like it has seen a lot of action. The paint looks factory fresh.

    Very original Ridgeback 603GX

I think you’re asking the impossible of the wrong set of people. I got around this buying an old bike for nostalgia reasons issue by never getting rid of the old bike in the first place.

The mother of legends: MS Racing Pro Comp XT

Looks like someone cared for it. Was it Mike Kloser who raced for them?

    Feast your eyes!

Elegant in a functional sort of way. Designed to go fast. I have the 80s (maybe) equivalent from before Greg discovered tri bars.

A couple of pieces I've made during the pandemic

The traditional way to power that would have been a child. They frown on that sort of thing now, the soft wussies! It is a nice thing; not over restored either. No good for my gas forge. Give it a month or two and I may well consider it cold enough to wreck my elbow again with a bit of...

Withdrawn Supercorsa, Tiagra rear mech, 1055 levers

I wouldn’t bother letting it into your heart though! Very clever @ferrus

    Thick as Thieves

I’m making a worse mess trying to get the damned bottom bracket drive side cup out!

The FIRST DOPED Cyclist with EPO

I still really enjoyed that era though. Lemond, Fignon through to Indurain and his competitors. I think I slowly started to lose interest slightly when Riis beat Indurain. I still followed the big tours and even went to the ToB a couple times. For me though, that was peak racing.

    Hardest saddle known to man..

Everyone’s different innit? The two least comfortable saddles I ever had the misfortune to perch my posterior on are a Flite and a Rolls. I saved for ages for the former when a gangly yoof and ended up giving it to a mate. He of course, loved it.

Karma Raleigh Clubman Lady Frame & Forks and some components

Nice. I will be travelling up on the 19th and back again either late on the 24th or possibly the 25th. If not I’ll have to make a special trip as I want this bike. I haven’t seen another larger than 55cm. Daughter is nearly 6’ tall.

Karma Raleigh Clubman Lady Frame & Forks and some components

Hi @mcslaski , I really think this would be perfect for my slightly tall daughter. Trouble is, I’m way to the south. I do need to travel to Edinburgh up the M6 in October though? Could I be met on a Sunday?

    Wanted 531 Mixte Bike Wanted.

That one is down in that London place! Also too small. Thanks for the link though as I have no idea what options exist. That’s another name there and, what a name. I love it. With only a slight squint, it’ll be the courgette bike. I see a mottled green paint job in the future.

    Wanted 531 Mixte Bike Wanted.

Hi @Jd345 thanks for the offer but I’m looking for a complete bike. Out of interest though, what size is it? I assume the seat tube C to T is the measurement to go for?

    Wanted 531 Mixte Bike Wanted.

It is a family joke. She is the shortest in the family. At 5’11” only just though. I nearly took the shortest title.

    Wanted 531 Mixte Bike Wanted.

Tentatively looking for a bike for my daughter to ride. Something classic comes to mind. She is the family shortie (just!) so maybe a 22.5” seat tube length? Anything in the collective sheds? I’m in the midlands and she is in Nottingham.

For Sale Dawes Lady Super Galaxy

Looks very nice but quite small? What is the size please? I am tentatively looking to buy my daughter a bike. She’s the shortest in the family apart from the cat. She is still a bit tall though.

Old and Really Quite Old Indeed Cycling Magazines.

Motorcycle recommission project - Suzuki GS750

One of the many tools I don’t have space for but keep anyway is an old Clarke fluxcore ‘MIG’ welder. I know I would need it as soon as I got rid of it. I have even used it for welding in a bodywork patch on our old car when it failed the MOT for a crusty wheel arch. Very cool project BTW. It...

A couple of pieces I've made during the pandemic

Did you seal it in some sort of envelope? To keep the oxygen out? My making has hit a pause until cooler times. Have requests to make a couple then.
