Looking good. I’d replace the bulky seatpost QR with either a black bolt, or a purple one to match the stem.

I think it looks cool! I’m normally a stickler for a more original look, but that looks a blast to ride and the colour combo works well.

Stronlight cartridge bearing BB from Spa Cycles are good. I think the quality is higher than the Shimano square taper BB.

It’s a safety precaution - in case the brake cable fails it will stop the straddle cable hitting the tyre amd throwing you over the handlebars.

That’s interesting that it has a u-brake (like the 1989 model). Does this have a u-brake because it’s a small size frame? @Spanky22b

A Salsa stem would be a good fit for this frame as the Condor has a tenuous link to Salsa… The Salsa a la Carte was built from Columbus Cromor OR tubing, same as your frame.

Hi, I don’t know anything about the bike but it looks too small for Greg Herbold? He rode a large frame in the early 90’s (Koga Mayara).
