Here's a similar frame - a Competition from between 1983 - 1986. No pump pip though. Lugs and seatstay caps looks identical, as do the cable guides, dt bosses and recessed brake bolts (pre 83 models had nutted brakes and band-on shifters afaik).

That has a fastback cluster. The OP's doesn't.

Looks like a 1983 Competition 12 to me that's been resprayed and has a later 531 decal. Prugnat lugs, top tube eyelets and seatstay caps look the same as a few other models that year. Could be G.O.D mid-eighties special model? dunno.

I had a frame made from Deda EOM 16.5. It was a scary 1488g for the painted 54cm c-t frame. I swear if you put too much pressure with your fingers squeezing the downtube, it could leave an indent. They used Deda 16.5 steel on some pro teams at the time (late 90's to early 2000's) before...

They did ones with a pierced GT-style seat tube and low-down seat stays. I thought they looked quite cool too. Its got some surface rust and those DT shifters look corroded as hell. Probably not worth the money he's asking.

Looks like a 52cm Aelle lugged frame with internal rear brake cable routing, DRC rims and mix of lower end Campag and Shimano RSX100...
