    98+ BotM theme suggestions

How about a botm sacrilege celebration featuring one or more items that raise the blood pressure of the retrobike zealots? U brakes , monoshock forks, shopping baskets up front, billy bonkers tyres, dork discs, multi angle stem extensions, sprung saddles etc.? I Think I can find a few turbo...

'thanks 'tis what I thought I was going to have to do - will try little by little with gentle steel file and not attempt any heroics with a grinder, I am frightened of ruining the axles in the process or weakening them unduly

Film and TV stars and their bikes!

That's a really great photo, even more so because there was no photo editing beyond what was possible in the dark room. Shadow is stunning and depth of field, composition spot on.

Someone please buy this quickly and strip all the junk off it that has been clagged to the frame, oh and please source a nice light rigid fork too , looking at this is making me twitch, they made it look like a hideous German trekking bike that weighs 90kg

    Another 1991 Explosif Tring

...likely to make a lot more than current bids, given it has nice rigid fork and looks like plenty of re-usable components, would need far less work and outlay so in the long run will be cheaper project for sure

    Another 1991 Explosif Tring

happy enough with how this turned out - its perfect size for me and light, responsive and drivetrain works beautifully... ...however vbrakes were still irking me at this stage so RB forum members to the rescue once more much better :) It may be only a 'homage' build but I think its...

next up decals and headset + time to get a really nice NOS groupset for this one and I have always had a particular soft spot for 90s XTR - albeit I dont really like the aesthetic of V brakes of all kinds thanks to the forum members who helped me source the above and guided me...

    "Ritchey" Logic build thread

after a futile hunt for several years, I realised I was never going to find a vintage Ritchey rigid MTB in the UK , despite seeing some ridiculously tiny and laughably humongous + very rough examples kicking about from time to time, nothing with any scope for a restoration ever came up...
