That cam you're using is the narrow type, Suntour made wide ones for the XCD roller cams that will work and should solve the problem (see below). Check Ebay (am I allowed to say that here?) they aren't that uncommon, or better yet just make them yourself using your existing cam plate as a template.

You guys work too hard :P . Just use a good quality side cutter like below, then trim the burr (if any) with the tip of the same cutters. I've done this thousands of times (literally) over the years and never had one problem.

Just use a strip of a beer can, it works fine. My Bontrager takes a 26.8mm post, but the one I'm using is a 26.4 wrapped 1.5 times with a 2" wide piece of a Diet Coke can. Works perfectly and you can't even tell it's shimmed from 3' away.
