I appreciate and enjoy engineering (problem solving) and aesthetic elegance / balance - I see all of this in your bikes (and try to achieve at least a little of it in my own). What I might consider if contemplating breaking up such a collection would be a beautifully photographed catalogue...

I've used Matt Black Aluminium Foil Tape and it's very close. The stuff I've got is for theatrical lighting stuff but lots of choice available. Cut with a wad punch or scalpel/scissors.
