    Ok, i replaced the oil in the right stanchion, cleaned ,greased and tightened everything back. I noticed there is an elastomer inside each spring. But they are inside, without anything keeping them in place, free to move along the screw. How do they work? Is this the way they are meant to be...

    Ok here's how they looks with the carbon cover removed. That long screw fell inside the stanchion like if there was nothing to push it. This makes me think that they are oil based and that oil is completely missing. Am i right?

    I tried to unscrew the allen bolts at the bottom of the fork. They came out covered of grease but i couldn't manage to remove the carbon thing.

    As JeRkY said they are spring based. Tomorrow i'll try to remove the carbon things, hoping that i'll be able to reassemble it (all those springs...hummmmmm...)
