Can a Single Speed Freewheel fit an Old Campy Hub?

That was a good watch. The Profile and White Industries freewheels are awesome pieces of work, but with prices to match. I'll probably go with a Shimano or Miche, if they are standard British thread. The build in its infancy. I've just stripped this for a donor frame and forks...

Can a Single Speed Freewheel fit an Old Campy Hub?

I will definitely do some research before I commit to my choice. I have a Campag Chorus screw on hub now, so let's see what happens next...

Can a Single Speed Freewheel fit an Old Campy Hub?

That's great information. My old Mavic 577 have just 2 Pawls. Had them 30 years, still work perfect. I'm not doing any riding that requires a superfast pickup from the freewheel. I am modifying a Campag triple chainset to use just the inner (granny) chainring, so I'm hoping the chain line will...

    Replacing Rear Mech Spring. How?

Just had another afternoon of it and the spring is going the same way as the one I knackered last week. Just when I think it's in and the c clip is on, the mech feels horrible. It's as if the seating pin nearest the outside face has dislodged and is dragging around with no return springiness...

    Replacing Rear Mech Spring. How?

I have to replace the B tension spring in my XTR M950. Thanks to member Matttymm, who sent me one. I've had this problem before with other rear mechs. How do you wind the B tension plate back in with the spring without it distorting or scoring an ugly gouge across the mech?

British Eagle Shadow LX and 531. £40 Southampton

I had one of these 1993. Absolute bargain at the time. 531 frame with a full LX group for £450 new, at the same time a Trek or Kona with that kit was way more expensive. I ditched the Rigida wheels with the cheap spokes and put on Mavic 217's laced to 577 hubs. After that it was a beaut to ride.

I knackered the spring yesterday trying to reassemble the rear mech. They are a pain to get back in. Any spare ones? Thanks all
